In 2011, Hoang Thai cassia oil factory was built in Bao Thang commune, Lao Cai district. With the production scale at that time about out 5000 tons of cassia leaves a year, Hoang Thai contributed to the consumption of all cassia leaves for farmers in the Bao Thang area.
After 2 years of operation, accumulated production experience and adjusted to improve the recovery efficiency of essential oils, the factory has begun to stabilize and develop. The volume of cassia leaves and branches increased consumption for farmers doubled.
Hoang Thai always purchases cassia leaves at a stable price and 5-10% higher than the market, therefore we have earned the trust of farmers. During the times when other cassia oil factories were built, increasing competition for raw materials, Hoang Thai remained stable in production with abundant raw materials.

In 2021, when realizing the development of local raw materials, Hoang Thai begins to build factory No. 2. A new factory with an expected capacity of up to 120 tons/year is expected to come into operation. from 2024 and increase the total capacity to 200 tons/year.
